Do not have a work account to subscribe to Microsoft Dynamics 365 trail? Here is the solution!

Hi All,

Happy new year, all! :)

Has this also been a constant struggle for you that you want to use Microsoft Dynamics 365 trial for which you do not want to use your personal account but at the same time it does not allow you to use your personal account.

Microsoft has a special feature for Developers so that we can learn and work on our Personal Projects. :D

It is called Microsoft 365 developer subscription.

Link: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program

Go to the link and Click on Join now

It will ask you to Sign in with your Microsoft Account (Create one if you do not have one and )

Then, follow the instructions as stated in the Microsoft Doc:
Set up Microsoft 365 Developer Subscription

Once you do that, you will get your subscription. Accordingly, you will get have Domain, User and password that you would have created while Setting up the Subscription.

The subscription is Valid for 90 Days and Microsoft will renew it based on your usage.

Know more about subscription expiration here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/developer-program/subscription-expiration-and-renewal

You can use this Username and Password to subscribe to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Applications like BC, Power Apps, MS Sales.

To talk specifically about Business Central, instead of entering a work account, use this account's credentials (username, password) and you're good to go. Access BC SaaS, create a workspace and Publish extensions without a problem!

Hope this helps with your future personal projects.Happy learning! :D
