What is Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its benefits?

Microsoft has stepped up its game in SaaS and got all the things under one roof! Now, what do II mean by this… we’ll see as I speak about it. I know it’s been few years that they achieved such a thing known as Dynamics 365, and many of you must be aware too, but the way Dynamics 365 is enhancing and progressing, II cannot stop myself from writing a blog about it! So please stay with me on this blog, you might discover something new or at least have an overview.
365 is an amazing and sensible term that they have used. Image it as a circle. In a circle, any point can connect with any point and doesn’t have any start point. Consider Dynamics 365 the same. How awesome is that!

In Dynamics 365, there are so many Microsoft Products which you can Connect, Integrate and combine them. The ones that were on – Premise have been deployed as SaaS. For example, NAV as Business Central and Power BI in Dynamics 365.

Some of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Products:
Sales
Marketing
Finance & Operations
Business Central
Power Platform – Power BI, Flows, PowerApps

As you can notice, there are Apps, Reports, CRM & ERP in a single platform. Isn’t it so fascinating?
A client who wants to have an Integration of Integration services, it is under one roof! I hope you understand it now.

Initially, when we talk about integration for offline-offline or offline-online, it was a task a few years back and required a lot of time and code to perform the same.

Now, let’s say you want to Connect Sales of CRM and NAV (now Business Central in Dynamics 365), Dynamics 365 account has both CRM and ERP which can be integrated using Connectors that Dynamics 365 provides. You do not have to go out of the way to do that. A client can close the products that he wants under the same account. There is no need for buying different products to manage the processes. Features like CDS and Microsoft Flow can be used.
Another scenario can be, you want to create a mobile App and connect with your Business Central, Dynamics 365 has PowerApps wherein you can create a mobile App with the least amount of code and connect it with your cloud Business Central (There is going to be a separate blog on this ! Stay tuned…)
Saw how you can connect anything to everything?

I know it was a short blog, but I found it important to talk about it as a whole.  There will be detailed blogs on Business Central and connecting it will different Applications such as PowerApps, CDS, Sales, Power BI, etc.
Create a trial account on https://dynamics.microsoft.com/ (insert link) and explore its features now.

I hope you got an overall picture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and how it can benefit you.
